I have been a North Shore resident for more than 20 years having lived in Ipswich during that time. I grew up in Lexington having attended Lexington High School and lived there until getting married. Having grown up in Lexington and lived on the North Shore gives me a unique perspective and strong understanding of various markets and has made my transition to real estate easy.
Previous to real estate, I have more the 20 years management experience in several different industries. My business background drives my focus on building strong relationships, understanding my clients' needs, coaching my clients in their best interest and successfully accomplishing their goals.
Buying or selling a home takes vision, an ability to set priorities, to clearly set clients' expectations, to manage the complete process and then to deliver superior results. My focus is "I'll make it happen; you make it a home." I bring the same experience, knowledge, and determination gained from my past experiences into my real estate relationships which make the buying or selling process less stressful.
In the past I have been a volunteer at the United Way, the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Scooper Bowl on Government Center which is a Jimmy Fund annual fund raiser. I am a present board member of the Ipswich YMCA, part of the Northshore YMCA association and I serve on the Financial Development Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee and the Community Outreach Committee. I am also a member of the Business Management Division of the Alumni Advisory Board at Lesley University located in Cambridge, Mass.
I have also coached soccer, volunteered at road races, community social events and athletic events supporting the community. I enjoy outdoor activities which include golf, swimming, cycling, kayaking, snowshoeing and being able to travel to various parts of the U.S. and overseas.

As first time home buyers, my wife and I were understandably nervous. Gil first met with us (in a snowstorm) and expertly and methodically explained in detail the steps for searching and buying in this competitive market. He showed us what to look for on open houses and patiently aided us in navigating the offer and purchase process. Even our attorney remarked how easy he was to work with and how painless our particular purchase was. We would not hesitate to recommend Gil to anyone looking for real estate in Eastern MA.
Being first time home buyers, there were plenty of things we needed to learn. Gil's knowledge, experience and sound advice helped us to make good decisions quickly, and to find and purchase a home we wanted in our limited time frame. After our initial inspection raised some concerns requiring further investigation, Gil advocated ably on our behalf, until the issues were adequately addressed. We purchased the kind of home we wanted in an area we're pleased to call home, and Gil was a true asset in making that possible.
Gil was indispensable for me as a first time homebuyer. He was consistent and available throughout the entire process. He voluntarily connected with the DCU mortgage department on my behalf, which was very appreciated while I attempted to balance work, family and the purchase. I love my new place, and would certainly work with him on my next property.
I worked with Gil on some historic properties. He is a great resource.
Being a new buyer Gil helped me through the buying process, answering my questions and explaining the steps to a successful closing. I recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home.
